Announcements:

  • Josh Machamer is the representative for the GE Goverance Board on the Semester Task Force
    There are two upcoming meetings on curriculum (November 9th from 10-11, and November 14th 3 - 4 pm)
  • University/GE Assessment Planning is developing - waiting for approval from the Provost; Josh will keep the committee updated on progress.

Business

  • The following course proposals/modifications were discussed by the GE Governance Board.
  • The GE Chair sends a follow-up memo to each course proposer with a full explanation of the decision, addressing specific issues regarding GE objectives and criteria.
